Children and Families Take Over the West Virginia Capitol

He was in an abusive family situation, so her family of six grew one more, she said.

“We have a very busy and active family,” she said. “Here we were with a small child, basically starting over, this little guy needed help in a variety of areas.”

Representatives from the Our Children, Our Future campaign spoke before the Joint Committee on Children and Families Sept. 10.
